How to Succeed in Network Marketing

Are you interested in network marketing? Here are 12 tips that you may want to read over before making your choice..

1. Choose the right company for you. Do some research to determine which company is best for you personally.

 

2. Choose the right sponsor. This is crucial to your success and the right one will help coach you to your success.

 

3. Realize that it will take time. Network Marketing or M.L.M (multi level marketing) is real business and not a get rich quick scheme.

 

 

4 Have a game plan. Literally, write out your plan for building your business. You will have greater success than those who don’t.

 

5  Read books by those who have been successful.

 

6 The why is most important. Why are you getting involved? Better lifestyle or Freedom or Financial security. Now, define what that means to you.

 

7 Set written goals.Seriously WRITE THEM DOWN!!! 

 

8 Attend company meetings and training calls.

 

9 Study your products and learn them well. You will learn as you go but you need to know the basics of what you have to offer others obviously!

 

10 Share your products and opportunity at every chance you get. (please be advised that there is a right and wrong way to do this!)

 

11 Employ a strong recruiting and prospecting system so that you don’t run out of prospects.

Yummy and Easy Crab Cake Recipe

 

 I never knew crab cakes were so easy to make! Here’s a basic recipe that keeps fat and calories at a minimum. My husband loves crab cakes so this will probably be a new menu item for the week and I am so excited it is low of fat and calories… yummy!

Prep time:  35 mins

Cook time:  10 mins

Total time:  45 mins

 

Serves: 6

 

Ingredients

• 1 lb crab meat fresh or 2 cans crab meat
• 1 egg
• ½ cup bread crumbs
• 1 tablespoon mustard
• 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
• 2 tablespoons fat-free mayonnaise
• ½ teaspoon onion powder
• ½ teaspoon old bay seasoning
• ½ teaspoon dry mustard

 

Instructions

1. Mix all ingredients together in bowl.
2. Make 6 crab cakes
3. Place in refrigerator for ½ hour minimum
4. Spray skillet with cooking spray, brown about 4-5 minutes each side.

 

The truth behind MLM companies and work from home JOB’s!!

I would normally never do this but something told me to share this! So many of you are looking for the right opportunity to make fast cash!!! I admit that before I became a successful entrepreneur in MLM I too wanted the fast cash! As a matter of fact here were my requirements:

NO cost to join. (I had no money to invest.. I am looking to make money duh)
NO selling. (I cant sell a heater to an Eskimo)
NO recruiting.
Work my own hours! (10 hours a week would be fantastic)
No products to keep on hand. (that means you need $$$ to buy those products so I am not about to invest in that)

So I tried many different work @ home gigs and well none of them ever worked! I invested a few bucks here and there and tried to find the cheapest way into a company and honestly I had no time to “work” my biz… I AM A MOTHER OF FOUR CHILDREN!!! I have no time for that!!!!

I finally watched a friend of mine for a few months and she came over to try and sell me a product!!! My exact words to her “I am not going to buy in to this or become a salesperson because that is just not my style.. but I will try it to help you out!” Little did I know that her intentions where not to sell me a product… Her intentions where to get me on her team and have me share this product with others so that I too could make a residual income!

That was all she wrote… I tried the product, fell in love and it was an uphill road from there. I used the products for 6 more months before becoming a distributor because I wanted to see the full effect of what she had and my results where amazing!!! I then became a rep in her company and I replaced my income in less than 3 months! I am now working a business on my terms and guess what it COST me to start!!!! It was $99 and I made that back in my first 48 hours but I knew that I loved the product and my warm market would as well… So I did it.. I took the leap of faith and I am so glad I did. My point to this entire post is to share with you all don’t assume that an initial start up fee is ridiculous.. That just means you are investing in your future! Do not assume that monthly auto shipments are a horrible thing because if you don’t have a product to show your clientele then it will make it harder for you to seal the deal.. 90% of my clients try what I have before making a commitment.. it is very important that I run my auto shipment every month and luckily my company has it set up to where I make cash profit from that every month!

I do not have a set schedule however you have to WORK in order to make money… I see so many people iso a stay at home job where they do not have to work!!! Cmon folks lets be logical… you will never get paid to do NOTHING!!! That is ridiculous!!!

When you are ISO a great work from home job please be aware that your requirements should be real… your expectations should be reachable!!! Find something that you love and don’t let fear stand in the way of your dreams!!! You can continue to do what you are doing today and getting the same results or you can take a leap of faith, find something you love and can share with others, find someone who will give you great leadership and training, and make it a career!!!

Parenting isn’t quite predictable, easy or always fun but it can be an amazing journey. Here are 10 things you can do everyday to make parenting awesome:

 

 

 

Accept imperfection:  Parenting is a huge opportunity to  accept that everyone makes mistakes and that these mistakes are a chance to learn together, a wonderful time for reflection and an opportunity to problem solve and practice acceptance, forgiveness and compassion.

Smile: It’s contagious and brings happiness to the world.  After spending time apart, when you meet again, greet your child with a smile. When things are going not so great, breathe and try to think of something that makes you smile.  It’s simple and yet so powerful.

Listen:   Make time to listen to your child’s dreams, hopes and stories. Listen to the heartaches, the problems and the fears. Do not worry so much about fixing and solving problems, instead listen with the intent to be there, listen with a kind heart and strive to  be present and supportive.

Dare to be Ridiculous: You want your child to have courage, joy, happiness and a desire to find meaning in life? Dare to be ridiculous: dance together, laugh, laugh and laugh some more, invent, create, play, whatever it may be, step outside your comfort zone once a day. It’s worth every moment of connection and it models amazing qualities needed for success.

Be Encouraging: The more we can encourage, the more our children can flourish.   Look and celebrate process and progress, determination and courage. Face success and failures with compassion and with the intent to be supportive.

Expect Limits to be Tested: Know that limits and boundaries will be tested because your child is still learning and trying to understand how the world and relationships work.  Shift your expectations and face those test with determination, kindness and flexibility and guide your child towards better choices in positive ways.  

Communicate with Respect: Remember the impact that your voice has on your child’s inner voice and strive to communicate in ways that are respectful, positive and kind. Say yes as much as you can and say no when you really mean it.

Spend time together: Look for opportunities, no matter how short they may be, to truly connect with your child each day. It can be five minutes reading together, two minutes shared looking at a picture, 15 minutes playing a game or going out to lunch together, find those moments and be truly present with your child. Children that feel connected are naturally more cooperative.

Aim for Balance:  Make time for yourself to re-energize. Our children are learning not just from what we say but so much from watching us. Striving to lead a balanced life, which includes time for ourselves really matters.  When our own tanks are full, we can handle the ups and downs of parenting much better.

Choose Love: Things will get messy, loud, sticky, complicated and stressful.Choose love and building a relationship over proving you have power. Children learn so much when given a chance to fix their own mistakes. Choose love and over the years your child will feel capable and remember “my parents loved me so” and not  ”my parents always told me so”.

The Super Bowl: A Sex Trafficker’s Playground

This is serious! Praying for all the victims of this horrible crime. It is so sad that there are so many victims and the industry goes up to 35 billion world wide is very scary… This issue is inhumane and the entire world does seem to ignore or overlook this issue. Please be aware and think about if it was your son or daughter in this situation.. You can help by raising the awareness. My company sponsors an organization called Selah Freedom. Working From Home & Enjoying My Life!

 

Working from home is truly the best decision I made for my family and I. I was sick of working 40+ hours a week.. I never got to see my girls and when I did it was for dinner,bath, then bed.  So I needed a vehicle to get me out of that hospital and out of debt!!! Even just a few thousand a month would be fine. I tried a few different companies and ugh it never worked for me!!! I used these products and saw the income potential and I knew this was it. I fell in love with the products the 6 months I used them! Had amazing results and turned my health around!!! 

So I went ALL IN!!! I knew I needed a way to get home with my girls!!! I knew I wanted to share these products with others as it changed my health for the better!!! 

So one year into the business I’m at home with my girls. I succeeded my goal amount very quickly and now I’m making more from home and having a blast! 

This business has changed our lives…. We got the cars paid in full, the three credit cards out from under us, & bought the land we have been waiting to buy for years!!! The house is this year and we are so excited!!!

The Ugly Truth Behing Network Marketing/MLM Company Hoppers – The Difference Between “Reps Leaving” and Leadership

Here’s the ugly truth to people who “hop” network marketing/mlm opportunities and then promote it everywhere: 

They are only hurting themselves and the dreams of many others! 

I was watching a video online for a guy who supposedly was in my network marketing opportunity. This person spewed lies, rumors, and opinions posed as facts in this video for no other reason than to make himself look like a leader in his company and opportunity. 

But after talking with his up-line in a previous company (recently previous, mind you), I found out the truth about this guy: He jumps from opportunity to opportunity, looking for the “next best thing” and dragging his team with him. 

And in the midst of talking with my friend, I also learned that many of the people who have been burned by this individual are giving up on their dreams and leaving the industry, opting for the “security” and restrictions of a job. 

Well, here’s the ugly truth behind Network Marketing/MLM “hoppers” and “next best thing” chasers: 

They are not leaders. They are hunters and gatherers, wanting to find who they can prey on to make money in whatever they feel inclined to move to next. They never take the time to develop themselves within a company, nor do they develop leaders within a company. 

These people claim that “reps are leaving” companies, as this guy claimed in his against my company, but realize that not everyone who joins a company stays, and not everyone who leaves is that important to the company. There is a difference between a leader and a rep, and it has nothing to do with income. 

No, the difference between a leader and a rep is that a leader sees the vision for themselves AND their team, takes time to grow, and takes more time to develop leaders. 

They do not look for opportunity after opportunity, hoping to make a few more bucks or the newest gizmo/tech/nutritional/whatever. 

No, leaders take time to develop leaders. 

And if they leave without doing so, they are just another rep in the field. 

Network Marketing/MLM is all about developing yourself to a leader by developing other leaders. How can you develop leaders if you cannot settle into a company and get to work? 

Don’t mistake the two, and don’t let these reps move cause you to lose the focus off of your dream.

Keep it classy and don’t be fooled. Live your dreams and remember that you are capable of anything! Don’t allow others decisions and false information along with lies and opinions change your path of success! 

I have my path of success and I have people whom think they are leaders and are not. They bash me, my company, and my products, but the cold hard truth is they are sadly just hunters on a search for something that they will never succeed in. They are sadly mistaken if they think that hurting others will get them anywhere!

12 Bible Verses Every Small Business Owner Needs

I pray that you are inspired by God’s word.  Your faith in yourself and your business are key to your long-term success. Starting a small business is a spiritual journey. You should pick a verse that will inspire you. I thought it would be helpful to share some of my favorites. Use these bible verses in the good and tough times in your small business.

1. Deuteronomy 8:18 NIV But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.  All of our skills and special talents that we use in our businesses are all given to us by God.  He gives us the ability to make money and cut deals.  He did it for our parents and mentors and he does it for us too.
2. Romans 12:2 NIV Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is–his good, pleasing and perfect will.  The bible commands us to be innovative in our businesses. We should not ever try to be like anyone else. The world is still waiting on a better mousetrap, and we should never rest on our successes. We must renew ourselves by being lifelong learners and reading constantly.
3. I Thessalonians 5:16-19 NIV Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances; this is the will of God for your life.  It is important to have a prayerful life as an entrepreneur; it will help you on those days when things do not go your way.  You need to have the strength to thank God, even when you do not win that big contract. God protects us when we do not get opportunities that we think we can’t survive without. Always be grateful.
4. Proverbs 16:18 NIV Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.  Many entrepreneurs struggle with pride. Do not be afraid to tell clients or employees that you do not know the answer. Try to diffuse any issues with truth and by taking full responsibility for fixing the problem.  Never let your ego get in the way of doing what’s in the best interest of your business.

II Corinthians 9:8 NIV And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. God always delivers to us what we need in order to do our best work.  Sometimes he sends a check we need just in time, and other times he sends us creativity to find the best solution to our challenges. Trust in the Lord at all times.
6. II Timothy 1:7 NIV For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. Fear is the enemy of entrepreneurship. God wants us to go out with the power he gives us to pursue our ideas in business.
7. Hebrews 12:11 NIV No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it. You must be fiscally disciplined in business. You cannot put all your hard work at risk by not being focused on your big picture goals and your monthly sales goals. It is painful at times, but it will produce quite a harvest.
8. I Corinthians 9:24 NIV Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Running a business is hard. It’s a marathon not a sprint. There will be plenty of stumbling blocks in your way. Everyone trips and falls while running this race, but winners get up faster than everyone else. You must do what you need to do to win your race.
9. Mark 5:36 NIV Overhearing what they said, Jesus told them, “Don’t be afraid; just believe.” There will be times when you are the only person who believes in your business dream. Don’t be afraid. Believe in yourself and your business idea.

Ecclesiastes 11:4 AMP He who observes the wind [and waits for all conditions to be favorable] will not sow, and he who regards the clouds will not reap. You must be willing to make decisions in your small business. No one is going to come along and do it for you.  Make hard decisions quickly, so you can move on to doing the work needed to help your customers.
11. Proverbs 11:14 NIRV Without the guidance of good leaders a nation falls. But many good advisers can save it. It is critical to have a kitchen cabinet of advisors for your small business. Your business will not survive on your experience alone. Pull together four to five people who are invested in your success. The group should include an existing entrepreneur, a customer, a mentor, a lawyer and a accountant. Seek out a mastermind group or peer to peer mentoring program to help as well.
12. Philippians 4:13 NKJV I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Whenever you struggle with your self-confidence read this bible verse to yourself.  There will be times in your business when you need to force yourself to stretch beyond what you think is possible. You can do it. I believe in you.
